This week is the STA Learn to Swim week. The STA are busy promoting the importance of learning to swim.

At 1st Swim School we are passionate about teaching our children to both swim well and know how to keep safe both in and around water. We feel that swimming should be both a lifeskill and one of the joys of life.

We are, currently, taking all our children through their STA ILSP awards as we believe that their hard work and progress deserves to be acknowledged.

Swim School Director and Manager, Phil and Phil are ‘knee deep’ in certificates and badges ready for end of term presentations.

Keep up the good work swimmers

Spring Term 2017

December 29, 2016

Oliver 2016

Looking forward to the New Year and getting back to teaching on the 9th January.

We still have a few spaces left in our very popular swimming classes.
Our programme is designed to meet the needs of each child. At 1st Swim School, we realise that children learn in different ways and ,with our expert knowledge on how children develop, we can create a fun, safe and productive learning environment for each individual.

With a maximum ratio of four children to each fully qualified teacher, and with only eight swimmers in the pool per lesson, during the beginner and improver phases of learn to swim, your child will receive plenty of attention and feedback.

We use a warm pool, situated in the centre of Burgess Hill. A pool with an exemplary reputation for adhering to all health and safety guidelines with regard to best practice in the upkeep of swimming pools.
