Philomena Geary, Director of 1st Swim School and also known as ‘Lady Phil’ by all the children has now been, officially, bestowed the title by the lovely Halls family.
Kate, Glynne, Cerys and Evan have been a big part of 1st Swim School for some 16 years and will, sadly, be leaving us at the end of the term.
Cerys who started with us as a toddler progressed through the ranks to become a super, qualified swimming teacher on our Saturday sessions. We wish Cerys lots of luck in her university studies and hope we get to call on her excellent teaching skills during uni vacations.
Evan, now having reached the grand age of 14 years has decided to move on having achieved all his STA Snorkelling levels plus Bronze Rookie Lifeguard. Our Hurstpierpoint lifesaving sessions will seem so strange without Evan’s cheery smile and willingness to try out everything.
We will miss seeing you all at 1st Swim School and thank you for all your support over the years and for making our Lady Phil a proper ‘Lady’.
